However, he is saying that the breakout box includes an S-Video input. No board you will ever see will say that they have S-VHS, since no Brooktree FlyVideo II thing exists.

The XCapture card is basically using the same sort of bit cognexant based chip, but does not include a tv tuner. The TV uses the CX chip.
WDM Video Capture Driver
There will be a discernable image difference. The CX Brooktree FlyVideo II slightly better resolution, but there seems to be a bit more picture noise, when compared with the SA. So it's a tradeoff.
The differences are pretty small though. I'm not too sure about the capture in PAL, sorry.

Got audio working properly with DScaler now Capture is a big no, video doesnt show up period in DScaler. And on occasion the audio Brooktree FlyVideo II resets, no reason why, it just does. Tekram 7.
